I'm still in awe of Queen and Adam Lambert's performance in Belfast! The greatest rock band in the world with Adam more than doing justice to their iconic music was almost too much to take in! I'm still not over the brilliance and excitement of seeing Brian, Roger and Adam on that stage showing the world how it's done and what real music is about. What was so amazing was Adam's reverence and respect for Freddie's memory and Queen. He didn't copy or compete with Freddie. He honored him and Queen with his own unique powerful vocals and stage presence, also directing the applause at the end totally towards Queen. What a class act! The Show Must Go On still constantly plays in my head,as well as Brian and Roger's solos and performance. All excellence at it's best. Can't wait to see what they will do together in the future. Real music! Exciting and thrilling!!
Thankyou for this impressive, complimentary article! It's very much appreciated by me and the many other Adam Lambert and Queen fans.It was such a treat to see such accomplished talent together on that stage. It was thrilling and that's putting it mildly!
Awww, thanks for saying what we Glamberts already know! Adam is destined to be globally LUVED... Best part: last line- classic Lambert, gotta luv that boy! LOL
I was a Queen fan all my life and I'm a huge Adam Lambert fan. I appreciate Brian and Roger's love of talent to consider him to front the band. He's not trying to be Freddie....no one can do that. He's just using his great voice and theatrics to do the Queen songs some justice. I am grateful to Roger and Brian for seeing this great performer in Adam.
